Week 5 Summary
Week 5 Summary
Its the last week of DS106, we did it!
I had a lot of fun over the course of this month, especially while creating my final project. For my final project, I told a story of a Post-Apocalyptic Love Story, which you can find below!
I definitely had fun going back through older assignments and creating different pieces of the story and fitting them together. You can read about how I created each piece below!
Throughout this past month, I learned more than I thought I would about the true art of storytelling. I learned about how important each aspect of a story is, and that when they are separated they can tell a different story than one that another aspect of the story tells. I will definitely be using what I learned in this class to tell enhance the stories I tell and the things that I create in my everyday life.
If I was given the opportunity to do something differently, I would definitely have spent more time working on the actual creation process of each piece of media. Over the course of this month, I was also taking a Spanish course, and while I was able to handle both workloads, each class took up a considerable amount of time in my days.
For me the most exciting project would have to be the final project. It was really fun creating a character, and writing a story for that character to go through. I especially enjoyed the world building aspect of this project, and loved adding in the little details that made the story weave together nicely.
